Research Focus/Background:

Professor Stewart retired in 1998 after 38 years on the faculty. During his tenure, he taught a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses. Process dynamics, process control, mathematical modeling, and computer simulation were his principal teaching and research interests. Since retirement, he has continued teaching the undergraduate process control course.
